Enter the all new Ring Always Home Cam. This ingenious device is a Ring camera embedded into the center of a drone! The drone will stay on your property and fly to areas where its sensor was set off. It can take video of any disturbances in its path that you set up ahead of time. It can run autonomously or you can control it and check out anything you see fit. It also has collision avoidance technology built in, so it can maneuver without fear of hitting corners and crevices. This exciting piece of engineering is guaranteed to be one of the hottest items to hit the tech market in 2021. Let's check it out. 

Ring was nice enough to give us Tech Timers an Always Home Cam to test for ourselves. 
  •  Setup - I won't lie, setup was a bit challenging. The unboxing and regular set up was easy enough. The hard part was establishing the perimeter around the house and setting up sensors. It took time and patience, but we got it done. 
  • Performance - This thing is a star. I could control it easily. The drone maneuvers easily in tight spaces and is super receptive to my commands. We set up several disturbances in the yard and around the house and the Always Home immediately sensed them and went directly to the correct spot. 
  • Video quality - The video quality was good enough for the purpose it serves. Faces were clear, the camera stayed fairly steady, and the video was not grainy.
